2nd Grade Teacher
I grew up in Friendswood and graduated in 2002 at Clear Brook High School. I continued my education at San Jacinto College South campus and then to the University of Houston Clear Lake campus. I graduated in December of 2007 and began teaching in Pasadena as a 1st grade Dual Language teacher in August of 2008.
I have a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Elementary Education.
I am certified as a EC-4th grade generalist and ESL certified as well.
This is my third year at SFA as a 2nd grade teacher.
Before I moved to Dayton, I taught for 6 years in 1st and 2nd grade in the Pasadena School District. I have always worked with children since I graduated high school. I always knew I wanted to be an Elementary teacher.
I got married in 2011 and have been married 9 years this past June. We have two handsome little boys that are 5 and 6 years old. They both attend here at SFA in kinder and 1st grade. We have 3 dogs and just moved into a new house last year.
My family and I love to go on family vacations. We just got a new pool so we will be swimming every chance we get!
