Attendance is one of the keys to success.
The lost learning time, particularly in the younger grades,
translates into weaker math and reading skills that become
long-term deficits for students even years down the road,
according to the new report from Attendance Works,
a national advocacy organization, and the nonprofit Healthy Schools Campaign.
